The winners of India's Best Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) 2021 were announced on Tuesday, December 21st. During a virtual awards ceremony, global delegates from across the security sector tuned in live to celebrate finalists and the winners of the India OSPAs.

Anurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of BW Businessworld Group and Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Exchange 4 Media Group delivered the inaugural address on the dynamic environment of the security industry. The summit program will include keynote speeches and panel discussions. For the second year in a row, OSPAs have partnered with BW Businessworld to hold a Security Summit, a pre-award security summit and to address a wide range of issues affecting India's security distribution.
Inaugurating the session, Dr.Anurag Batra commented: "BW Security World is now in its second year with OSPAs. In its third year, we are looking to bring a formal physical face-to-face event to bring the OSPAs team, Dr. Martin Gill and his team to India."
Dr.Anurag Batra said that security is becoming more and more important. The professional outsourced service industry is growing. Security is a huge part of it, but the security industry is no longer limited to physical security data, Internet security, and facilities management and cash transit. All these areas are growing. Speaking of different roles, challenges and dimensions, Dr. Anurag Batra pointed out that we need to better control our crowds to prevent explosions like Covid- 19. Clearly, how to ensure that we maintain a social distance, including office facilities and retail space, becomes an important task for security professionals.
In his speech, he spoke on the broader aspects of security under the BW Police World and BW Defense, in addition to the Security World. He explained that BW Defense.com, which examines defense and aerospace ecosystems, and BW Police World are partners with all security systems in the country to build a community within that domain. He added: "With BW Security World, we will complete the offer."
Dr. Anurag Batra spoke with OSPAs about the rules and ethics of the award under the jury process. The jury consists of eminent security experts. He said: "It was a very strong process because it was run by OSPAs and the BW Business World team."
“So today's winners are selected through the Jury process and in a while will join in sharing his experience in leading the jury and choosing the winners. We're grateful to him and all the jury members”: Dr.Anurag Batra added. He said “Hopefully, as we grow within this domain will be able to serve the information and insight from the Security Services industry. That is growing very fast. And we hope to be a catalyst in the growth of this industry.”
He thanked the jury members said: “I look forward to celebrating the winners at the second edition of the OSPAs India.”
